Week 2 — You’re Allowed to Not Know Yet

Before We Break

A STRONGER TOMORROW IS STILL POSSIBLE.

THE WEEKLY REFLECTION · ISSUE 02

You’re Allowed to Not Know Yet

Uncertainty isn’t failure. It’s honesty.

Thinking about divorce doesn’t mean you’ve decided anything. It means something in your marriage needs attention. You don’t have to have all the answers right now.

In a world that pressures us to make quick decisions, it’s okay to sit with uncertainty. Clarity takes time, and that time can be valuable.

“You don’t have to have it all figured out to take the next right step.”

01 · This week’s exercise

Write a one-page “state of the marriage” note to yourself. No audience. No filter. Just honesty.

02 · Conversation question

“What’s the hardest part for you right now?”

03 · This week’s challenge

Give yourself permission to sit with your feelings this week without rushing to a conclusion.

Try shared exercises only when both people can speak freely and safely. If a conversation feels unsafe, skip it and seek individual support.
